Shopify and Facebook

Thanks for downloading my report on how to make a great income from Shopify and Facebook.
This is a method that I have been using for the last 13 months with great success. It works well as Facebook is such a vast website it is easy to set up stores in different niches and make an absolute KILLING.   The best part is you can set up and publish for FREE.

Basically ANY niche will work with this.  You just need to target the right people!

Ok I will outline the simple method below. 

But before that I will give you a head start and tell you what niche I found to work REALLY well.  It is the niche I started in and Facebook is big enough that I’m not scared of the competition.  The niche is BABY CLOTHES!   I’m not sure why it worked so well but I suspect there are always women pregnant and also always relatives and friends looking to buy clothes for them.

Ok let’s get started!
1.      SIGN UP - The first thing you need to do is open a Shopify store. You can sign up and try it for free for 14 days.  Then just go on to the basic plan which is $14 a month if you don’t have many items.


2.      WHAT TO SELL AND WHERE TO BUY IT – I mentioned the baby niche earlier but if not I’m sure you will come up with some great other ideas for a store. When it comes to buying products to sell a great place for a low price is aliexpress. The niche ideas are endless and you can purchase at around 40% less than normal online store prices. 
* don’t buy fake stuff and sell it as isn’t worth the risk.


3.      IMAGES AND DESCRIPTIONS - Once you have decided what you are going to sell you are going to need pictures and descriptions.  Just take them right off the aliexpress website and upload them to your Shopify store.

4.      PRICE – I normally price just below the retail price.  Don’t go too cheap as you still need to make a profit, make sure you factor in the price of postage.


5.      FACEBOOK – OK now you have store set up (hopefully) you are going to need to add it to Facebook. There is an app inside Shopify that allows you do this. Please see graphic below (graphics 1).  You will also need to set up a Facebook fan page.  Please see graphic 3.

6.      TRAFFIC - You are probably thinking how do I get traffic to my store? It actually is very easy.  Here are 4 methods I use.

a.      Join buy and sell groups.  There will be buy and sell groups on Facebook in your area.  Join them and just start posting your products.  When people reply just send them a direct message and say have a look at the item on my Facebook page.  There is a good chance they will either buy or buy something else.
b.      If you go down the baby stuff route join new mother groups. Much like above.  Just contribute and when you get a chance drop in a link to your Facebook page.
c.       Ask your friends to share your page.  This is a great way to get free traffic and people are more likely to buy from friend of a friend.
d.      Paid traffic.  I don’t recommend this until you make a bit of money but you can buy traffic on Facebook.  You can target young mums in your area and show them adverts for your shop. How targeted is that?

7.      DON’T HAVE ANY MONEY TO GET STARTED?  Probably some of you are thinking I can’t really afford any money to buy stock etc.  You don’t have to!  When people buy just send them an email and say, look the item you have purchased is just this second out of stock.  I have ordered more from my supplier are you OK to wait? Most people will be fine with it, if not apologise and send them a refund.  Then just buy off aliexpress and send it to them. Normally takes around 14-20 days to arrive. Eventually when you find out what sells I recommend you get some stock in as much easier.  But at the start if you have no money do like I recommend. As long as you are up front with people most are fine.

8.      REFUNDS – It is up to you how you handle them.  But just be sure you give yourself time to send back to the supplier on Aliexpress so you can get your money back.

OK that is the basic plan.  You have everything you need to be success with Shopify and Facebook.  Once you get one store up and running it is easy to go in to other niches stores and expand on to places like ebay and even amazon.
You have no excuse this is easy stuff and just requires a bit of effort!  Coming up to Christmas and now is the perfect time to kill it with this method!
